Making and Editing Videos with iMovie Pt. 2

The iPad’s camera has made “publication” of student learning by video extremely accessible to classrooms of all ages. In this hands-on workshop, participants will be introduced to the iPad iMovie app and will create and edit a short movie including video footage, Camera Roll photos, background music, voice over, transition effects and titles. Please download the iMovie app to participate. Optional app downloads: GarageBand, Backwards and iMotion HD (or a free stop motion app!) Please note: this is the second half of a 2 part workshop.

Doris Brown has 29 years of teaching experience in secondary school sciences and 15 years of scientific research experience. During her scientific research years, she studied embryonic development in mice using molecular genetic, transgenic and stem cell technologies. Since joining San Domenico in 2006, she has taught Conceptual Physics, Advanced Placement Biology, Biology, Anatomy and Physiology, and Forensic Science in the upper school.
