She has been teaching for over 15 years, eight of which she spent at a private school in Daly City, CA teaching sixth grade, middle school math, and first grade. She has a Masters in Elementary Education/Language & Literacy from San Francisco State University, and a BA in Psychology and Elementary Education from Muhlenberg College in Pennsylvania. Brooke strives to connect classroom instruction to real life applications, and to create a cooperative classroom environment that generates curiosity and interest in mathematics. When she's not teaching math she enjoys hiking, kayaking and other outdoor adventures.
